A clinical technique that involves the application of localized direct pressure to eliminate specific hypersensitive areas that can be responsible for a wide variety of pain in many locations. Working on a pain tolerance scale specific to each client, the practitioner will apply pressure assisted with client breathing techniques. After each session, clients should expect to have an increased range of motion and significant reduction in chronic pain. This modality is especialy helpful for conditions such as Fibromyalgia and chronic stiffness.
